Other RPG characters like Shulk and Cloud suffer from this as well. It's not going to be easy to translate one's personality from these types of games into a crossover game where talking and interaction is fairly limited. It's extremely difficult to gain information about who these characters are when each of their games is easily 80-100 hours long each.
#FIRE EMBLEM 8 RANDOMIZER MONSTERS SERIES#
Sat 24th Apr all fairness, the Fire Emblem series is an RPG series.

Representation is more than just about who's playable. Why can't we just accept the game how it is and just don't use the characters we don't like? I'm getting sick of this sort of thing because it only creates a further divide between Fire Emblem fans and Smash Bros fans. Sure the music/spirit selection is good, but just about every other first-party Nintendo franchise has good music/spirits to pick from. In short, Fire Emblem gets lots of playable representation because its lacking in every other regard. FE only gets one item despite having loads of cool bits of weaponry throughout the series that you can equip on your characters. It's so disappointing when they could've added things like the Devil Axe/Sword that deals heavy damage but also self-damage, randomized tomes/spells, or hammers. Oh and Fire Emblem also has only one item. Garreg Mach is the only other one to do so but that leaves FE with only two actual stages that mean something while the other two could easily be from any other game series. Castle Siege and Coliseum are just generic locations found throughout the franchise while Arena Ferox is the only stage that's from an actual location in an actual game in the series. Pokemon and Mario also get stages that represent various games in their respective franchises as well.įire Emblem meanwhile, gets stages that don't really represent anything at all. Wind Waker (Pirate Ship), Majora's Mask (Great Bay), TP (Bridge of Eldin), SS (Skyloft), BOTW (Great Plateau Tower), and so on. Legend of Zelda has loads of items and like 8 or so stages that represent major locations from each of its games. Sat 24th Apr everyone keeps forgetting that Fire Emblem really only gets representation through its characters and nothing else.

Anyways this is the best Fire Emblem game ever, if you haven't played it, then you should get Fire Emblem Sacred Stones for Gameboy Advance and either play it on the Gameboy Player on Gamecube or on your Hand-held Gameboy player or better yet, buy it on the Nintendo Wii U Virtual Console. Be careful with your characters because if he or she lose all their HPs, then that character is gone for good and if Ephraim or Eirika gets killed, then it's game over.

You can even explore the over world map and get more money and exp points more easily from random battle monster fights, something that you aren't allowed to do in Fire Emblem 2003, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn, Shadow Dragon. And it is very much like Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, You can use swords, axes, spears, bow and arrows, and magic spells in limited uses before they break, you can get 100 exp to gain a level, you can also promote your level 10-20 character with a crest item to become more powerful. The game play is the same as in Fire Emblem 2003.

In this Fire Emblem game, you can choose to play either as Ephraim or Eirika who has to go on a journey to fight against the Grado Empire who threatens your kingdom and to fight Lyon who is trying to revive the Demon King. After I played Fire Emblem 2003 on my Gameboy Player on the Gamecube, I played this Sequel Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones for Gameboy Advance.
